Seriously, give @talamonasterycats a follow if you’re a #catlover. They do such incredible work saving all the strays on the island and taking in the hundreds dumped on their doorstep. Two tiny three week old kittens arrived while we were there! They currently take care of 900+ cats! I don’t even consider myself a #catperson but being there is such a magical experience, just so much peace around these creatures who just give with their whole heart despite what they’ve been through in life. This is one of those places that leave you in awe at the work of caring humans and thankful for beautiful animal energy, so peaceful and constant! And if you want to pay them a visit when you come to #cyprus they let you come in and just wander around 🐾 so when Istria requested yesterday we take her for her birthday of course we said yes! Of course you can always adopt or sponsor a new feline friend too ☺️💕🙌🏻

Homeschool + being a #bossmama isn’t always easy. I don’t find taking care of them that’s the hard part though. ⠀

I find staying calm hard. I find not exploding hard. I find handling a sensitive / spectrum child hard. I find being interrupted during my work time 247891 times in the first hour hard. ⠀
⠀
I find looking at myself in the mirror of them and their needs hard. I find looking at my own inner child hard, the one who needs my calmness and presence most of all. ⠀

But then you see them like this and everything hard just melts away 💕even if only for a few minutes ☺️.⠀
